Practical use cases
- Signing a form or agreement that was sent as a PDF.
- Initialing every page of a document.
- Signing from a phone without installing an app.
What this signature is — and isn’t
This adds a visible signature image to the page. It is not a certificate-based digital signature and it does not verify your identity. Whether a visible signature is accepted depends on who is asking for it; for documents that require a verified or certified signature, use a service designed for that.
Common problems
- Click “Sign PDF” and nothing downloads: the signature box is empty — draw or type a signature first.
- The typed signature looks different on another device: the three typed styles use fonts available on your device; what you see in the box and the preview is what is placed in the PDF.
- The signature is too small or large: drag the page preview position, and adjust the size so it fits the signature line.
