How to crop a PDF

PDFDistrict shows you the first page and lets you drag a rectangle over the area you want to keep. That selection changes the page's real visible area (its CropBox) rather than hiding content behind a shape, so the result opens correctly in any PDF viewer. The same relative area is applied to every page, scaled to that page's own size.

Private by design: PDFDistrict runs entirely in your web browser. No files are uploaded to any server. No account is required. Your documents stay on your device.

Crop PDF — frequently asked questions

Is this a real crop or just a white box on top? +
It's a real crop. PDFDistrict changes the page's actual visible area, so every PDF viewer and printer respects it — nothing is just hidden underneath a shape.
Does the same crop apply to every page? +
Yes. The area you select on the first page is applied proportionally to every other page, even if some pages are a different size.
Does cropping work on rotated pages? +
Yes. The crop follows what you see in the preview, so it stays correct even on pages that are rotated or in landscape orientation.
